Friday Afternoon Board Game Bonanza!!

Each Friday afternoon this term we are playing a variety of traditional board games!  The aim of the game-excuse the pun is cooperation, team work and turn taking, with a little fun mixed in. What a great afternoon!  What’s your favourite board game at home?

  1. Kia ora Mamaku 1,
Looking through your photos brought back lots of memories for me of when I was a child and when my children were young too. Playing board games is such a great thing to do to learn good skills about winning and losing and obviously turn-taking, persistence and sometimes team work. My favourite game out of your photos is Monopoly. We play lots of games in our whānau, especially when we are camping. We like Phase 10, 5 Crowns and Bananagrams. Do any of you play those games?

  2. Hi There, M1. It's Caitlyn here from Totara 3. That sounds like great fun! If you got to choose your favourite game what would it be? Did you enjoy board games? And I think it's great that some of the kids let their grandparents, join the fun too. Thats really cool! Nice Job, M1! From Caitlyn, Totara 3.
