Big Day Out

Wow, what a fantastic day we had today for our annual Big Day Out.  Stunning weather, awesome kids, a terrific movie, super sports and topped off with a great swimming and hydro slide session.  Huge thanks to all those parent helpers that gave up their time to join us too.  We couldn't have done it without you!

Check out our door!  We chose to use "Colin Leslie's Boots" as our inspiration as it was written by a local lady and illustrated by Mrs Clarks neighbour! We are really happy with how it turned out, what do you think? 

Book Character Day 2016

Check out Mamaku 1s fantastic costumes for Book Character Day.  After a very sad week where we as a school we farewelled the precious Jordyn we finished with a super positive note which we know she would have been the first to participate in with an amazing costume!  Great job M1 you make me proud

PJ Night in Nga Manawa

What a fantastic evening we had in Nga Manawa last night with our PJ party!  It was another great Bookweek activity.  Thanks so much to Mrs Costello for her great organisation!!

Finns Puppies

We were so lucky on Tuesday afternoon to have 6 super cute puppies come and visit us.  These are Finn's puppies.  They are 5 weeks old and are pure breed fox terrier.  Oh my goodness - super cute!!!  Thanks for the cuddles Finn, I hope you went home with 6 because I know I could have taken one home!!

Nga Manawa - Our new Library

Mamaku 1 and Te Hiringa spent a fantastic afternoon in our new learning space this afternoon.  We are so lucky to have these learning opportunities.

M1 are really enjoying learning about fractions through games. It has promoted lots of discussion!!!

Wow!  What a fantastic first session in Mamaku 1 this afternoon for PrEP.  Every single student was on task, motivated and excited!  I can't wait to see some finished products at mini-market on Friday!!!

Well the weather hasn't been so kind to us for our fitness programme so we have bought out the favs on Gonoodle. We love Milkshake and Maxarena!
