Room 10 visits Room 5

Thank you Room 5 for hosting us this morning with some fun Christmas Craft activities.  We had a great time making our Christmas Bells!  Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the playground next year.

I'M AWAY!!

Good morning team!
Yes the athletic sports are on so I am away.  I ave put your classes on the whiteboard as promised.  Your plan for the day is as follows.

9.00 Head to your allocated class for roll, admin etc.
9.15 Literacy interchange.  Go to either room 10 or 11 for literacy.  Miss Leigh is in charge so she will direct you :)
MORNING TEA
11.00 Maths - Room 10 Maths Group - STAY in your allocated class and work on the activity you were set.  The rest of you go to your MAths interchange class for your usual day.
12.00 - Return to your allocated class.  You can be working on your RWC activities or one of the colouring sheets.
LUNCH
1.15 Silent Reading - joining in with your classes.  You can do RWC or sheets again
2.15 Schools Singing.

Hello Room 10 we are having a fantastic holiday but ready to come home now, not sure about the rain and cold tho!!  See you all on Friday!!!

Holiday Challenge!!!

After some great Oral Language discussions today around the question "What is one thing you use everyday but don't need" a lot of Room 10 said they don't really neeeeed their technology (i.e. iPads, tablets, iPods,   x -boxes etc).  So Mrs Clark posed a challenge to them!  
CHALLENGE:  How many of you can go 7 days without you extra technology (excluding TVs - I'm not that mean :) )

Simons' Guinea Pigs

Simon brought in his Guinea Pig family in to share with us this morning as part of his speech!  Super cute they were too!!  Thanks for sharing with us!  Lara loved her cuddles!!

New world visit

This morning we finished our 3 days with our nutritionists Nova and Rita with a fantastic visit to New World looking at food labels and fruit and vegetable food groups.  Wow we have learnt heaps and know how to make healthy food choices. We were super lucky to be give a free lunch box as well!!
